We are looking for QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team.
We are looking to grow our back-end team with a QA Engineer with experience in testing high-performing, scalable, event-driven applications.
Based in our Sofia office, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the company’s portal sites, backed by a tech stack, consisting of a core gaming platform system and an event-driven microservice-based application operating on top of it. While a significant part of the site functionality is covered by a growing automated test suite running on a nightly basis, there is still a notable amount of manual and automation testing involved we need your expertise in. In this position, you will have the opportunity to participate in the evolution of our testing framework and suite, both in its planning and development.

What will you be doing?
- Plan and execute manual and automated tests of the sites and platform functionality – player journeys, payment transactions, campaigns and bonus functionality, limits and compliance requirements, different APIs, etc.
- Analyse requirements and identify functional scenarios to ensure optimal quality of the product. Then create manual and automated tests to cover them.
- Analyse, describe and track defects in the issue tracking system (JIRA).
- Suggest improvements in the software functionality and quality.
- Contribute valuable insights to enhance our development and testing processes.
- Recognise opportunities and adopt innovative technologies.
- Participate in the design and support of our manual and automated test suites.
- Collaborate with the product owners and stakeholders on grooming and estimating stories.
Who are you?
- You have 3+ years proven experience in Quality Assurance.
- You offer a strong knowledge of software testing fundamentals with practical experience in Desktop and Mobile Web testing.
- You are proficient in Java (8 and newer) with a solid understanding of QA processes (approaches, methodologies and SDLC) and able to apply this knowledge in daily operations.
- Solid understanding of web development fundamentals, with expertise in diverse test strategies and creating comprehensive test plans for positive, negative, and edge cases.
- Proficient in writing, executing, and maintaining automated tests.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
- Skilled with various Test Automation frameworks and experienced in building them from scratch.
- Hands-on experience with API testing (manual and automated) and end-to-end test automation.
- Skilled in automating image recognition and comparison tests.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with clear communication skills.
- Big-picture thinker with flexibility to manage multiple projects.
- Fluent in English.
A plus but not mandatory:
- ISTQB Certification is a plus and experience in Java Playwright.
- Finished QA Trainings, workshops and seminar participations.
- Experience in GitLab
- You offer experience in a Gambling/online Casino, understanding the Gambling/Casino business domain
