We are looking for a Head of Frontend Development to join our growing team.

The Head of Frontend Development is a senior-level technical management role, responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of Glitnor B2C front-end web and native applications and user interfaces. The Head of Frontend Development will lead our teams of web and native engineers, set technical standards and best practices, and ensure the front-end codebase is high-quality, scalable, and aligned with our broader technology strategy. The role blends people management with technical leadership and thus requires development expertise to help the team navigate complex technical issues.

What will you be doing?

• Leading and managing a team of frontend developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, product management, and backend development, to deliver high-quality customer-facing solutions.
• Setting and maintaining coding standards, best practices, and development processes to ensure efficient and effective frontend development.
• Hands-on involvement of frontend features and components, contributing to the overall success of the team's projects.
• Conducting code reviews, providing feedback, and ensuring code quality and consistency across projects.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in frontend development to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Who are you?

• Proven experience in frontend development, with a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Previous experience in a leadership or management role, with a track record of successfully leading and developing frontend development teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
• A passion for online gaming and/or a deep understanding of user experience principles within the gaming industry would be considered an asset.
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Experience working with remote and international teams.
