We are looking for a BI Developer to join our growing BI & Data Infrastructure team. This role can be based in one of our hubs located in Sliema (Malta), San Pedro (Spain), or Sofia (Bulgaria).

We're looking for a skilled BI Developer to become a key member of our expanding BI & Data Infrastructure team and contribute significantly to building strong and flawless data products. Our data isn't just a foundation; it's the launchpad that drives us toward groundbreaking insights!
With Looker as our reporting and visualization tool, key stakeholders are given access to specific data and content that is relevant to them enabling self-service analytics.
Our current data warehouse is built on BigQuery within Google Cloud Platform, supporting both streaming and batch data processing. We're excited to be transitioning to Azure Databricks, which will unlock new opportunities for innovation and growth.
What will you be doing?
- Report and Dashboard Management - Develop, manage, and schedule reports, alerts, and dashboards within Looker.
- User Administration - Administer user roles, permissions, and user groups to enhance the Looker experience.
- Data Model Testing and Maintenance - Ensure the accuracy and functionality of data models and views through testing and maintenance in Looker.
- Troubleshooting and Unit Testing - Perform unit tests and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Data Integrity and Quality - Investigate and resolve data integrity and quality issues.
- Stakeholder Collaboration - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their data needs, including providing Looker training.
- Cross-Team Collaboration - Partner with Data Engineers and Data Analysts to improve data workflows and deliver new data solutions aligned with business and stakeholder requirements.
Who are you?
- Relevant Experience & Education - Proven experience in a similar role, supported by a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- Technical Skills: Advanced SQL skills, familiarity with programming languages such as Python, and a keen interest in continuous learning.
- BI Tools Expertise - Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, and/or Looker (training will be provided on Looker).
- Problem Solving - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Adaptability - Ability to be flexible and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attitude - Positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability - Strong analytical skills, adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Communication & Attitude - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, combined with a positive, can-do attitude that drives innovation and growth.
- While not mandatory, knowledge or experience in the iGaming industry would be considered advantageous
