We are looking for an Accountant to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop and grow while working with a great team in an international environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Accounts payable management, ensuring accurate and timely payments, taking ownership of development of procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy of the AP process.
What will you be doing?
Accounts Payable (AP) Management:
- Process and oversee the full cycle of accounts payable in various jurisdictions, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Take ownership of Scan & Capture module, an AI tool to process invoices and enhance its capturing AI model.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve any invoice discrepancies and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Implement and enforce AP policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy of the AP process.
- Weekly reconciliation of AP transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to adapt to the different requirements and AP processes of various jurisdictions.
- Work closely with other departments to foster effective communication and collaboration in the AP process, including approving invoices in a timely manner
- Manage the finance department's shared inbox by handling internal and external queries, invoice submissions, and payment approvals to ensure smooth communication flow and timely responses.
Accounting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist the financial controller in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, balance sheet and income statement checks as part of the month-end closing process.
- Collaborate with the financial controller to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
- Handle intercompany transactions and balances, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation across entities.
Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in accounting and AP workflows.
Who are you?

- High school studies in Finance.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role, preferably in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
