We are seeking a motivated and skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with mid-level expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Continuous Deployment/Continuous Integration (CDCI) pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS security tooling, and various AWS services. As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with software development and IT teams to automate, optimize, and streamline our deployment processes and infrastructure, ensuring security and compliance are prioritized.

What will you be doing?

• Design, implement, and manage CDCI pipelines for efficient software deployment and delivery.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes for high availability and scalability.
• Implement and manage AWS services including, but not limited to, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.
• Integrate AWS security tools such as AWS Security Hub, AWS GuardDuty, AWS Config, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), and AWS WAF to ensure a secure infrastructure environment.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security best practices within AWS environments.
• Automate provisioning, scaling, and management of AWS infrastructure to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of code.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD tools such as Circle CI.
• Support development and integration teams with debugging, testing, and code quality assurance practices.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and security policies.

Who are you?

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, specifically with AWS.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes, including deploying and managing containerized applications.
• Solid understanding of CDCI pipeline tools such as Circle Ci, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with AWS security tools like AWS Security Hub, AWS GuardDuty, AWS Config, and AWS WAF.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or other relevant AWS certifications.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Previous knowledge of online gaming would be advantageous.
